Mark Nicholas is an author and illustrator who lives in Cardiff, Wales.

In 2017 he graduated from the Cambridge School of Art with an MA in Children's Book Illustration. 

 

Whilst studying he went on to win both the Lara Jones Award and the inaugural Carmelite Prize. 

 

The Story of Tantrum O'Furrily, the first picture book Mark illustrated, written by Cressida Cowell was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal and longlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize in 2019.
